Q. What is the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework?
This framework replaces the former Management and Social Plans developed by Council. This new framework allows council's to consider the diverse range of impacts on our communities in an Integrated way to incorporate the social, economic, environmental and civic leadership considerations.
Q. Why has a new Community Strategic Plan been prepared?
The Community Strategic Plan has been prepared in response to changes in legislation requiring all NSW Councils to address and develop an Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. This means that all Councils will need to prepare an overarching Community Strategic Plan, a Workforce Plan, an Asset Management Plan and a Long Term Financial Plan.
Q. What happens to the current 'Gosford Vision 2025' Plan?
This document will be reviewed and updated to include new community information and will take this document to next stage by showing how broad ideas for the future become projects in Council's yearly action plans.

Q. How will my input be used?
Council is committed to working directly with the community in developing the Community Strategic Plan. Council needs to be sure that community aspirations and concerns are understood and considered. All feedback received from the community will be considered as the Community Strategic Plan is developed.
Council is ultimately responsible for the adoption of the Community Strategic Plan however the role of the community in recommending priority areas and outcomes is of critical importance.
